Modern oil drilling rigs generally use hydraulic transmission devices, and their typical transmission system is diesel engine + hydraulic transmission device + chain and car to uniformly drive the working machine (winch, turntable, mud pump). This hydraulic transmission scheme not only makes the power unit utilization rate high, but also makes the operation of each unit reliable. With the rapid development of drilling technology, various new drilling rigs continue to emerge, such as fully automatic electric drive drilling rigs, hydraulic top drive drilling rigs, electro-hydraulic composite drive drilling rigs, vehicle-mounted self-propelled drilling rigs, etc., with novel designs, excellent performance, and strong contemporary characteristics. Their overall transmission generally adopts the form of separate independent drive of mud pump and winch and turntable, and the separate pump unit of mud pump is driven by diesel engine (motor). The traditional single-unit pump unit is driven by a diesel engine through a reduction box, a clutch, and a narrow V-belt. It is bulky and complex, and the displacement and pump pressure can only be adjusted by adjusting the throttle of the diesel engine or replacing the cylinder sleeve of the pump. However, since the cylinder sleeve of the mud pump is not suitable for frequent replacement and the diesel engine is not suitable for working in the low-speed zone, the displacement and pump pressure of the mud pump can only be adjusted within a limited range, which cannot meet the requirements of the drilling process.
